The day began with the Holy Eucharist celebrated by Rev. Fr. Mathew Veketanam, OCD, the Facilitator of the Chapter.

The Provincial Chapter in India, began with a heart touching prayer service on the theme “Rooted in Christ” conducted by the Provincial leadership, with a special tribute to the deceased Sisters of the Indian Province and Sr.M.Barthola, our former General Superior who founded the mission in India.

Sr.M.Dolly welcomed all the participants and gave an introductory note for the Chapter. She remembered all members of the International Congregation and the members of the Indian Province. She pointed out the three delegates who could not attend and appreciated the willingness and readiness of the alterative delegates in a short note to participate the Chapter.

Sr.M.Margarete Ulager welcomed all the Capitulars to partake with an open mind in this sacred event, seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit; and officially opened the Provincial Chapter 2022.
